identity exploration
I wanted to explore the nostalgic concept of attachment to nature and why we romanticize certain tangible objects. I hope that my work speaks to those who feel isolated and at state of displacement.
The sculptural shapes created is supposed to signify grainy memories that I have held on to and tried to recreate certain ties that I have maintained to my roots and home. I have used to materials that have been interwoven into new works that represent new memories.
